CMS...Fort Hood just had 8 and a half inches of rain.
We've only had 4 inches but it's still coming down.
Wonder if you need a boat, AH. I know you have had
a lot more rain south towards Austin!
I just heard 10 inches for Austin! Good day to stay home. It's pouring here right now..

The ramp crew is taking a brief break from the work due to the rain that is forecast. We're under a Flash Flood Watch today and tonight. There's also a very slight risk of severe weather in the form of winds and tornadoes.

A lot of flooding..road closures going on. ..It just keeps on keeping on..off and on here..It’s been steady south and north.

My house is high ground and I am staying put..We dodged some heavy rain bands last evening..just barely.
Other parts of Texas have really had it!

75º here this wet morning. Some rain totals for central Texas:
Georgetown - 13.4"
Mansfield Dam - 12.6"
Cedar Park / Leander 11.6"
Several other locations - 8.7" - 9"
Both my 5" & 6" rain gages ran over last night. The wife dumped both earlier in the day.
