The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005
pattyvita, thank you, soooooo much, for these fantastic pictures. Evokes so many emotions....makes me proud, happy and sad at the same time. I love and admire ‘W’ as much as ever and I miss him being CIC. And, it’s difficult to put into words the degree of admiration and respect I have for the military men and women and their families.
Thank you so much for posting these WONDERFUL pictures of our warriors and our great President Bush. It thrills my heart when I see our guys with the President having fun together and working so hard on this great ride. I will never get tired of any pictures I get to see.
You do a great job for all of us and we praise you for it, Patty!! ((((HUGS))))
Amen, Kitty Mittens. Those glorious 8 years were the best times America ever had. The military was very blessed to have a wonderful man like President Bush to be their Commander in Chief.
Thank you for these photos...all inspirational.
Exactly. President Bush always held the military in such high regard. He thinks of others first, not at all like a stuck-up, aloof and cold person.
You’re very welcome. The photos do bring a mix of emotions -both happy and sad. It’s great that President Bush is out there spending his free time to help these wounded veterans.
On the other hand, it’s sad that he’s no longer at the helm to lead the military at such a critical time as we’ve seen the current WH occupier trying to do what he can to undermine them.
But, anyway I’m so pleased that President Bush still cares and respects our troops. That’s what really counts.
My pleasure, Jaycee. It’s been a lot of fun putting these photos together. You can’t help but feel the warmth in President Bush’s smile as he was riding with the Warriors. I’m glad he’s happy and in the best shape of his life!
President Bush dancing with Warrior Melissa Stockwell during a live performance by the Randy Rogers Band on the last night of the W100. Melissa was injured in Iraq in 2004 and became the first female ever to lose a limb in combat. She completed all 100 kilometers of the three-day mountain bike ride.
She will remember that dance for the rest of her life. God bless her and her CIC.
again acknowledging & thanking Patty for her great contributions here..
Love them & love you!
No one ever has to guess about President Bush’s love for God, country and fellow man/woman.
Oh how I wish he was back in office! The person in office right now is making more of a mockery of the office than clinton did and I didn’t think that was possible!
wow, yes, very touching moment! She surely earned a dance with our wonderful President Bush.
Thanks for the ping. I’ll be watching.
Thanks for the info. I will record it and then watch it after Hannity
Thanks very much for the information.
You’re right. I would otherwise NOT watch Piers Morgan.
Pattyvita, thanks, sooo much, for this alert! Yep, don’t like CNN or Piers Morgan but I’ll hold my nose and watch the interview of our great President GW Bush. Piers better be respectful toward our ‘W’ or the emails will be flying tomorrow....
I did record it and watched it after Hannity. I had to fast forward until I got to the interview as he spend Morgan spend over 50 minutes interviewing Ted Turner and less ten minutes with President Bush
Thanks for posting! I soooo miss W and can’t say enough about the fine Patriot Warriors ridin’ with him! THIS is AMERICA’s BEST!!!
