Turns out the killer was an anti Mormon who DEMANDED that his name be removed from the LDS roles. Furthermore, he was mentally ill.

How about some clarification about your conclusions? Was the man's mental illness shown by the murder? Or was the man's mental illness shown by his anti-Mormon views? Or was the man's mental illness shown by his demands to have his name removed from the LDS roles?

When a tragedy like this occurs, like the shooting @ the church in Texas, or the shooting @ the church in Colorado, what church doesn't rally around the victims with love, compassion, forgiveness and kindness?
What is unique is for one of these church bodies to actually take pride in rallying around the victims -- as if that wasn't something other than normal love & servanthood.
