Congressman Mike Rogers (R-MI) says he would support capital punishment "one-hundred percent" for the Army serviceman accused of leaking intelligence pertaining to the war in Afghanistan.
"If they won't charge him with treason, they oughta charge him with murder," Rogers said.

For darn sure!
Journ0listias next.
Yes, and execute wikwleak webmaster, also.
Obama has betrayed out country and continues to do so every time his lips utter sound.
Too bad this guy hasn't read the Constitution. Treason has to have two witnesses to the act. Since it was done by computer, unless somebody watched him cut and paste the documents into an email you aren't going to have two witnesses.
Personally, I think you charge him with misuse of government secrets, one count for every page he sent, sentence him to one day for every count, dress him up like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz and drop him into general population at a maximum security federal prison.
I concur!
I agree.
There’s a whole lot more than just a PFC pip-squeak divulging classified info. Look at Congress, Senate, Dept. of State, CIA, and who could ever forget the NYT for almost 100 years. There’s a laundry list of treason since 911.
So do I but I also think those who take this country to war for any reason other than preserving our own national security deserve the same. If our security is at stake then kick some ass and get it over with!! Use an effing nuke, that’s why we have them.
*rolls eyes* Since Daniel Ellsburg is still walking around free, I foresee NOTHING happening to Assange. He won’t even get harsh words from the MSM.
Didn’t the president already say “pretty please don’t do it again?”
A shame that politicians have been committing treasonous acts for decades, but finally, when someone from the military sells out America, everyone calls for his head.
Not that he doesn’t deserve it, but I’d like to see some of the same outrage for our elected “officials”.
First off, he isn't even a US Citizen or resident of the United States so he's not even legally capable of "treason" against a government to which he owes absolutely no allegiance, be it legal, moral, or anything else. Perhaps you could declare him an agent of another state or something, but there simply isn't a valid basis to do what this congressman wants to do.
But more to the point, the government's issue with his leak has just as much to do with covering its own ass over diplomatic cables that expose the Obama state department's corruption and ineptitude than anything involving "putting soldiers at risk." While we certainly should be mindful of the latter concern, we should not let it distract us from the FACT that the leaks did further expose the Obama team's corruption and inept strategy in Afghanistan, affirming once again why he is unfit to lead and probably incapable of a win there. Sorry to be blunt but those are the facts. We simply aren't gonna win in Afghanistan while the current idiot-in-chief is president.
The socialists want Manning free just as they did with their Russian spies.
Prosecute, if not execute all traitors...they know who they are.
LOL! Not a pretty visual, but...effective.
