Washington, D.C., August 2, 2010. The Army has now referred charges against LTC Terrence Lakin for a General Court Martial. This action triggered the appointment of a Military Judge to preside over the trial, which will likely be scheduled before October, and held in Washington, D.C. at Ft. McNair.
On August 6, 2010 at Ft. McNair in Washington, D.C., the court will convene for the purpose of Judge Lind taking Lakin’s plea to the charges which consist of “missing movement” and of refusing to obey orders. Today Lakin stated: “I am not guilty of these charges, and will plead ‘not guilty’ to them because of my conviction that our Commander-in-Chief may be ineligible under the United States Constitution to serve in that highest of all offices. The truth matters. The Constitution matters. If President Obama is a natural born citizen then the American people deserve to see proof, and if he is not, then I believe the orders in this case were illegal.” If convicted, Lakin faces up to four years at hard labor in a federal penitentiary.

Interesting point. This may be less about Lakin than it is about managing the circumstances. If Lakin is of sound mind, why would he continue in spite of the ‘advice’ I’m sure he received.

Allowing discovery is the only way to put an end to this. The only question remaining is will the Judge have the balls to do it. Or will the Judge be a coward?
We will not see the BC if it is used as evidence. It will be produced in camera, and sealed from public record.
But hen we have ways to unseal it.And good reason to do so.
The American military, save LTC Lakin and PFC Bradley Manning, will continue to do its duty as it always has.

Refer to Post#144. Let’s say that all of that turns out to be true and an Indonesian passport is discovered. LTC Lakin will still be guilty, BHO will still be the POTUS, and will remain so until removed by the Senate through the process of impeachment.
You and all the others who want to conjure up some other extra Constitutional process to rescue you from this mess can continue to beat your heads against the wall.

Just a hunch, maybe because the Chief Justice of the United States, the rest of the Supreme Court, the leaders of both parties in the Congress, the former President, and the Commissioned Officer Corps of the United States believe that he is President. You might want to contact all of them and let them in on your big secret.

Before you start calling people moron, you might want to begin paying attention. I was referring to our esteemed correspondent, 240B; who took just such an oath. You do know what a 240B is, don’t you.
I served 25 years as a commissioned officer in the United States Army, I know which oath I took which is why I would vote to convict LTC Lakin if the evidence presented at trial is consistent with the charges - I would be bound by my oath to do so. That oath did not say support and defend the half baked, ever changing theories bandied about by the unhinged.

You are absolutely correct, but it is beginning to look more and more like "birthers" are correct.
The Army is an institution that abhors anyone rocking the boat, and believe me, if it is shown in court that 0bamao is not a Natural Born Citizen (NBC) it will cause an upheaval the Army would much rather avoid, never mind their sworn duty to uphold The Constitution. The military is now part of the coverup. The Generals looking forward to their fat retirements and cushy jobs as "consultants" do not want to do anything that might jeopardize it.
I am quite sorry to see LTC Lakin in the circumstances he finds himself, self-imposed though it is. I have zero sympathy for his cause, it is without merit and does nothing but deprive our soldiers in combat of much needed medical care.
And yet you cannot answer "yes" to the question: Is Barack Obama an Article II natural born citizen and thus the legitimate CiC of the military???
