I figure that if it keeps showing up, the Doc might wind up hearing about it. Not giving the Doc an opportunity to give Murdoch a well-deserved blackeye for aiding the violations of border (one of the doc’s essentials) smells bad.

ah, you weren’t here on Friday. If you listen to minute 47 of Friday’s podcast, you’ll hear a segment where the doc named a few big industrial names who favor amnesty.

Until he decides she’s not. probably sometime before the end of the week.
I remember him speaking well of her in the past, saying there were few who stood by him when MSNBC canceled his TV show, and named her along with one or two others.
He’s also so often plays like he’s pissed at others, as he did with Jeff Kunar, that I gotta wonder if his criticism of Rush and the others isn’t for the benefit of those like me who don’t trust any of them. The man is full of little shticks. So why wouldn’t that simply be another?
Here’s a bit he does: Ever hear him imitate Jackie Mason? He doesn’t say he’s immitating Mason or give him any credit.
Still. Mason loves him. I suspect Mason may be the comic he tells of who got thrown into the a Catskill’s pool in an act of cruelty by the hotel owner and staff, but who just laughed it off.
I’ve been watching Don Rickles insult everyone in proximity, starting with Johnny Carson. They all just laugh and laugh. It’s a game. That’s showbiz. Who here believes talk radio is not showbiz? Grow up!
And when you think I’m not being rational, I think you’re criminally naive. Who can trust Savage or anyone else on broadcast radio? They all have to play ball more or less in order to stay on the air, be it due to FCC, station owners, or sponsors, the host has to gratify more than the audience — he has to gratify the paying customers first!
Why is it that people who get it how pro wrestling is a sham cannot believe that Dem and Pubbie, Lib and Conservative, Left and Right, Govt and BigBiz, are all engaging in somewhat of a Kabuki dance?
Bush was bad for the country, just not guilty of most of the things that Dems charged him with. But the result of all the Dem bashing was that he couldn’t be criticized very much from the Right without his supporters treating every critic as if they were a Dem. In the end, Bush’s defenders treated real conservatives far worse than Bush or the GOP ever treated a sitting Democrat. And now they’re doing the same thing with Palin from the day she came on the national scene.
Using the Doc’s words: “Don’t you get it yet? What are you? Crazy?”
Last week he mixed the metaphors we’ve become accustomed to hear from the Doc:
“It’s two card monte, and there’s no bean under either nut.”
