The Son taught us *how* to pray, giving us a certain format. Alas, for a long time, the relevant, to this period of time, part has been done by rote, and so mechanically that folks have just lost the intent. Thus, when you pray, "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done", it should be done with fervor, and a longing for that to happen, an end to all evil things in this world...
