Looks like Florida can kiss it`s wildlife and economy goodby, along with Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi. And it looks like the latest attempt to stop the gusher made things worse.

It makes my heart sick to think that my favorite beach area is being struck by this BP/Obama plague.

Not a cleanup crew in sight, of course. Where are the Emperors “shovel ready jobs” crews?

Just wait until it hits the East Coast. I would bet that the leak will have to be blown up and hope for the best. It’s a tough problem. I wish I had the answer.

I have no doubt it will get worse but the constant drumbeat of disaster
with no pictures gets old. As if they (reporters) are determined to be the first one with the story that white beaches are now black with oil before they really see it.
Here is the picture of the "waves of blobs" in our local news so far:

Did you hear that the Coast Guard removed all the oil barriers from Alabama and Mississippi so they could be redeployed to Louisiana?
I'm sure this has something to do with not creating a situation in which anyone can come down on Obama like they came down on Bush for Katrina.

I just got back to the hotel here in Pensacola Beach and it’s washing ashore here... there’s a neat little tar ball stain on my shorts where it splashed up from the surf.

Obama says he has been in charge since day 1. Why didnt he tell the EPA to do their job and contain the spill? Why hasnt the National Guard been deployed?

Does anyone know what is happening at St. Joseph’s peninsula state park beaches? We are supposed to camp there starting the 13th.
