White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs issued the following statement early Thursday:
"President Obama spoke tonight with Prime Minister Rudd of Australia, and with President Yudhoyono of Indonesia. President Obama expressed his deep regret that he has to postpone his trip to Asia that was scheduled for later this month. The President looked forward to rescheduling so that he can visit both countries soon.

This guy is clueless. He’s still on the campaign trail. He doesn’t have a leadership cell in his body. He must have needed to hire a nanny to potty train his kids. Oh, I forgot...he was out community organizing on the streets about that time. He wouldn’t know how to clean up after the dog.
I just posted the timeline of 0bama’s response to the oil spill to my Facebook page and then 0bama goes and cancels his trip! I guess he can’t add anything else to that timeline. It already looks pretty bad. Hey Jude!
First time tar baby cancelled his trip was to stay around in case congress needed him to help get his health reform bill passed.....

I don’t know why Obama canceled but I do know it’s got NOTHING to do with the spill. Tonight CNN tried for two hours to contact BP, the Coast Guard, the White House ANYONE to get information on the top hat fix that BP is right now attempting. Nobody home, NOT ONE DAMN WORD from ANYONE on the status of top hat. Everyone it seems had gone home to bed except the hands on the rig who have not slept in three weeks. This administration is COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT!
He must not have really wanted to go there then. He didn’t cancel with Bono or Paul McCartney.
He’s nothing but a poser ... an empty suit with empty slogans and logos from David Axelrod.

This guy is toast. He’s basically a Dead/Lame Duck after 15 months. And I don’t think the Health Care crap has much of a chance of being implemented....at least on time. They’ve already missed some deadlines on that.
