May 31, 2010 — Video taken by IDF naval boat shows the passengers of the Mavi Marmara, one of the ships in the 'Free Gaza' Flotilla, violently attacking IDF soldiers who were trying to board the ship after having sent repeated requests for the boat to change course.
Large groups of passengers surrounded soldiers and beat them with metal poles and chairs, and threw one soldier over the side of the ship. Some passengers grabbed pistols from the IDF soldiers and opened fire. As a result of the attacks, seven IDF soldiers were injured, and nine of the passengers were killed.
The 'Free Gaza' Flotilla had publicly insisted on their non-violent intentions, however their violent attack on the IDF soldiers was clearly premeditated. They had knives, metal rods, firebombs and other items ready to use.
Now taking bets on these videos making the evening news.

They were attacked on hitting the deck. They don't appear to be prepared for the violence they were greeted with. Planning should have been better, at the very least the deck should have been cleared with tear gas. These guys appear to have dropped into an angry mob (of peacemakers), arms not at the ready.

Yes. On reflection the content reveals a lot.
1) IDF rappelled onto the ship one at a time. Very stupid. They were ambushed the second they landed on deck.
2) They were beaten with sticks and one guy ran down deck with a large pole which he rammed into a soldier.
3) Someone threw a firebomb at an IDF soldier when he landed on deck.
4) A mob threw an IDF guy off the deck.
5) People are running all over it’s like an ant farm. I imagine some people were trying to get away, others trying to get into the fray.
The video is less than a minute and edited.
It raises a lot of questions. I do believe Israel had to defend its blockade. I do believe the people on the ship made the wrong choice - they knew they were going to get raided and chose to ‘defend the ship’ knowing they would lose the fight. But the way IDF did this, they look incompetent. Perhaps they didn’t expect violence from these “peace activists”.

Now, don’t you know that all boats are equipped with hundreds of metal rods for “you never know what.” It’s clear that they were prepared to be violent. I wonder how CAIR and our Satanic media will spin all of this. I am sick to my stomach.
