(IDF Video shows) Demonstrators Use Violence Against Israeli Navy Soldiers Attempting to Board Ship
IDF Spokesperson's Unit via YouTube ^ | 5/31/10

Early this morning, IDF Naval Forces boarded six ships attempting to break the maritime closure of the Gaza Strip. This happened after numerous warnings from Israel and the Israeli Navy that were issued prior to the action. The Israel Navy requested the ships to redirect toward Ashdod where they would be able to unload their aid supplies which would then be transferred over land after undergoing security inspections.

I’ve posted link to it on some other threads as well. Hope someone captures, because it’s likely to get scrubbed. There’s a dozen or more anti-Israel takes on the incident, already on youtube.

You can’t trust the biased Israelis!

Only Hamas is telling the truth: because Muslim terrorists never lie.

President Obama is complicit in this anti Israeli operation. He invited President Netanyahu to be in Washington on the date the expected boarding would occur. President Netanyahu would thus be taken out of the chain of command while Obama has a photo op.

The Clown’s plans were disrupted by the IDF attack a day earlier than expected by the White House event planners.

Bibi returned home, leaving Obama with egg on his face and yet another big time fail

Obama 0 Netanyahu 2

You have to be logged into YouTube to view it. To your knowledge, has anyone captured it and made it viewable elsewhere? I really don’t want to create a YouTube account just to view this one video.

Alternately, could you describe what’s on the video? Does it prove IDF innocence?

Bibi launched the operation while Obama and Rahm were frolicking in their favorite Chicago bath house last night.

It’s a view from above that pretty clearly shows what happened, with arrows and captions explaining. You can certainly see a soldier rapelling from a helo and being set upon. Mostly it looks like a typical pali riot/car-beque scene, only on a ship.

What is going to be the incident, the tinder that sparks the conflgration?

Well to be fair you can trust no one in a situation like this because it´s only natural that each side will try to look right and tell their “version” of the “story”.
You know there is an old saying “the first casualty in a war is truth”.

When a Warship orders a merchant vessel to stop for boarding it better comply. Israel is not South Korea. Theyy should come dead in the water and follow orders.

After reviewing the tape they should have pulled the soldiers back and sunk that particular ship.

Main I hope there was Explosive and Weapons on that ship. Course all the Kooks gonna blaim Isreal no matter what they find.

Its pretty obvious from the video that the Floatilla “organizers” wanted exactly what they got. This will probably be a propaganda victory for Hamas, but that would have happened no matter what. Too bad there is not a way of making these ships turn around without being boarded.

Wow...Israel being tested bigtime...wondering if the orders from Hamas was for the guys on the ship to resist at all costs and be heroes. Hamas knew Israel would defend themselves and now comes the lies and persecution by the media and enemies...

if foreign soldiers boarded my boat without permission in international waters, I might well fight back too. I think the Israelis should have tried different tactics. They had no legal right to board this vessel. I can’t blame someone for defending their ship in a raid.
