Campbell fares best against Boxer in poll [and DeVore better than Fiorina]

Glad to see so many people recognizing what a snake Campbell is. If elected, he would be Lindsay Graham’s best buddy.

Yeah and not only that he would appear to the voters to be more of the same but wearing a GOP label.

You know he’s a ‘nice man’ and all that. Got to elect a ‘nice man’, friendly to all etc.

So come next year when Cal can’t pay its bills, can’t get more bailout $$$ or not enough of it, they will let go more state workers, unions will be miffed, and dems will be even more disgruntled.....and then they will look to Campbell and think but we elected this GOP moderate and so, well it just doesn’t matter does it? Doesn’t matter which party is in power.

But if Devore is there and pounding the dems daily for the disaster in Cal, then more dems will stay home in 2012 and conservatives will be rallied.

So the best outcome is Devore gets in, and if he can’t get in, then it would be preferable to get Boxer back in.

And the reason Boxer is the second preferred outcome is because she turns so many people off that when Cal fails next year, voters will think we are not going to let a dem back in, so voters will turn out Feinstein and the dem socialists in the state legislature.

Boxer leading Campbell 42 percent to 41 percent while the senator tops Fiorina by seven percentage points. Orange County Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, R-Irvine, fares better than Fiorina in a head-to-head matchup, trailing Boxer by six points.

And in case you haven’t heard, there’s a very good chance that the dems are going to be tossed out this Fall.

Do you think if a GOP Congress in 2006 and 2008 with McCain would have prevented the financial collapse? You’re a fool if you do.

So think about it, the financial collapse and the outrageous spending under a GOP Congress and a GOP President would certainly be bringing in dems now.

And who voted for TARP? Yeah, President Jorge Bush and his GOP Senate.

No it was Bush and the RINO Congress that gave us Obama and the dem US Senate in 2008.

Bush was in it up to his eyeballs in the banking scandals and yet he fought like hell for amnesty.

So rethink your logic; you vote for a RINO slate and you get dems in GOP clothing. You vote conservative and eventally you will get your chance.

I worked like hell to get Bush a complete GOP Congress, donated tens of thousands of dollars. Never again. Will only vote for conservatives period.

You let Campbell or FioRINO get in the Senate and you will have 20 more years of Cali hell with the dems blaming the Cali GOP.

And that’s all based on Devore not getting in. If Devore doesn’t get in then it’s preferable to return Boxer because she stinks so bad her dem label will taint Feinstein and the Cali legislature.

But Devore getting in is the best outcome. And if he doesn’t get in, then what do you recommend? Campbell? FioRINO? Think they are going to turn the big blue state red or even purple? Just like Schwartzenutter did? You’re dreamin!

Well .... Ca has a place called L.A. The county has 10 + million, we also have a place called the bay area which has 2 - 3 million. I will assure you these people are not conservative. They are rats of one type or another. Ca is not going any where for years and maybe never. The rest of the state which is conservative do not have the #'s. period. A senator has nothing to do with the state as was their original intent. Boxer / Feinstein do nothing for Ca, all they do is vote near 100 % for the socialist federal agenda. Most of the rats in LA and the bay area could care less about what you and I care about, nor do they blame Boxer or Feinstein. The fact we are soon to be Greece means nothing to them. The fact we are out of $ means nothing. However, there may be enough rats that do care enough they maybe, just maybe, will vote for a RINO to send the rat party a message. But if the conservatives do not hold there nose WE WILL NEVER ELECT A REPUBLICAN IN CA. PERIOD! I have been posting for a while the following chart which shows conservative states (based on how they vote for the presidency) and the RAT senators they send to Washington. Until the republican party realizes that the conservatives will come from the states below and Ca will send RINO's if we are lucky. If we focused on say North Dakota we could eliminate 2 far far left socialist rats and replace them with someone like Thune in South Dakota. DeVore is my chose in the primaries for sure but hell would freeze over before I vote in a away that will help someone like Boxer to win. If we had focused on getting conservatives in conservative states we would not have death care, we could stop the liberal rat socialist judges .... and on and on. But we focus on a state like Ca, no wonder they had a super majority in the senate, the house by a ton and the POTUS.

I don’t think the Senators will draw blame for the state’s financial issues - they don;t really have anything to do with it. It certainly isn’t enough of a reason to keep Boxer around, whoever the GOP puts up.

I lived in California for 20 years, have family and property there. Know the state well. I was there when Pete Wilson was Mayor of San Diego.

I disagree with your assessment.

The key flaw in your argument about numbers is that the numbers will stay home with an attitude of indifference.

The conservatives can win the Boxer senate seat if Devore wins the primary because Boxer can be beat by just about anyone.

So this is an opportunity for conservatives because dems will not show up in the numbers they have in the past.

But if Campbell or Fiorina get the GOP nomination, the republicans are going to stay home en masse in 2012. Do the broad math and you can see that Campbell or Fiorina will be worse for the GOP in the out years.

As for Cali becoming red, yes it’s possible. I saw the creation of a black middle class in Central LA in the 1980s during the Reagan years. It was said that Ronald Reagan thought the best social program was a job. When his defense expansion manifested in Lockheed looking for a new fab center, they were looking in the LA metro area outside LA, but Reagan’s people said no, you will stick the plant right in the center of LA. The result was a record number of poor blacks that got hired with decent wages, the first time they had to get up, get cleaned up, get dressed and get to work on time. First time they learned about upward mobility.

That was the beginning of the black middle class in LA and if there had not been a huge defense cutback there in 1990 under GHW Bush, that new middle class would have become entrenched to the point of turning LA red, because I saw the start of the transformation.

I do not tolerate the can’t do crowd, the compromise crowd. I know regions and people can change and I have witnessed it all over the world. I saw it in Eastern Europe, I have friends who have seen it in Columbia, once the most dangerous place in the world now the most stable and safe.

Yes, California can be changed. But to see it change requires inspired leaders with longterm endurance and a never quit attitude.

The financial issues will not affect Boxer further because she’s part of the dem stink already.

The financial issues are finding and will find blame, that’s natural.

Whoever is in a high profile position regardless of their influence or power over the situtation, those high profiles will be marked with a general unease of the public.

When California fails, and it will, the dem base will stay home and the field will be clear for non dem candidates. If they are conservative, they will have a chance to show why conservatism is superior to liberal and leftist politics. If they are not conservatives, the results will be pinned to both dems and GOP, and the attitude will prevail that it matters not which party, as none of it works for people.

Also, this seat won’t be up again until 2016 - the financial crisis in California is going to hit critical mass a lot sooner than that. It would be crazy to keep Boxer in that seat another six years on the hope we’ll have a better candidate.

Um no....I know it seems counterintuitive, but it must be Devore, and if not Devore it should be Boxer.

If it is Boxer, she will be an icon of failure for 6 years, a recurring ad for conservatives, a punching bag. She will be a great reminder of liberal recklessness.

Even if she has no real power over the state of affairs of California, she is a personality that people cannot respect, a presence that makes people feel awful. That is a good thing for the GOP.

And Boxer’s votes would not be much different than Campbell’s. The only difference is which will be a sad icon of shame for people to avoid contact with.

Now let’s work to get Devore the nomination. I sent him money Saturday. If you are on the ground in California, there is a lot you can do to promote and advertise Devore.

I'll vote for DeVore in the primary, but I think it would be crazy not to vote for whoever the nominee is in the general election. Boxer damages the country.

No question Campbell is a liberal progressive.

Fiorina is a female Romney. Look how Romney damaged Massachusetts.

If you vote Campbell or Fiorina in November, you damage the GOP brand. It’s no different than if the Coca-Cola company decided to water down their formula for financial reasons. But they would ruin the brand for a short-term profit or market share.

You want to vote for watered-down Coke, then you are going to get crap for consumption and a damaged brand name.

You are not saving California or the USA by voting for liberal progressives or RINOs.

Think about it.
