Echo-Chamber Olbermann Calls 'Idiot-Woman' Palin Coward For Refusing To Come On MSNBC
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 05/13/2010 7:02:25 PM PDT by governsleastgovernsbest

If anyone in the liberal media has no business calling anyone a coward for refusing to take on people with opposing opinions, it's Keith Olbermann. The fragile Countdown host is so defensive about his policy of inviting only yes-people on his show that, as noted here, he recently devoted an MSNBC promo to lamely explaining away his Bert Lahr imitation.

But that didn't stop Olbermann on this evening's Countdown from pummeling Sarah Palin for declining to come on MSNBC. For good measure, the vulgarist variously referred to the former vice-presidential candidate as an "idiot-woman" and twice as an "idiot." Here's how Olbermann teased his attack at the top of the show . . .

KEITH OLBERMANN: Idiot-woman speaks. In front of a big flag, sponsored by a sump-pump company, quote: "somebody told me, you know your [sic] going into enemy territory. I said, it's Chicago, it's not MSNBC." Yah, like you had the courage to come to MSNBC.

Note to Olbermann: when calling someone else an "idiot-woman," avoid misspelling "you're" as "your" in your show graphics [see screencap after the break].

Why would ANYONE go on Olbermann’s show? Olbermann is simply an Obama buttlicker. They can get that by tuning into ABC,CBS,NBC,CNN, NPR ad nauseum. Olbermann offers nothing that the “big media” doesn’t already dish out nightly.

Republicans SHOULD boycott MSNBC.

Democrats boycott FOX and refuse to appear ALL THE TIME. They will not agree to debates on FOX, but Republicans routinely agree to debates on hostile networks.

When Democrats refuse to go on FOX they get cheered by the mindless liberal masses.

Sarah Palin can get better ratings by posting a video of her clipping her toenails than Keith “Why-don’t-you-just-get-them-to-make-you-a-t-shirt-with-fascist-written-on-it” Olbermann can get on his best day.

That’s what’s pathetic about this, an attempt to piggy-back on Sarah Palin’s popularity.

Sad really.

This is really, really dumb on so many levels.

1. Will you really get someone on your show, if you insult them?

2. Is it really Olbermann's goal to have Sarah Palin on MSNBC or is it just to feed redmeat to the Daily Kossack types that watch his show?

3. As a practical matter, Palin is an employee of Fox News, as they used to say in the olden days, 'another network'.

Multi-level stupidity, the Olbermann trademark.

And from the looks of it, Olberman’s crew flunked English.

Queef’s whole show is based on name-calling, smart-ass remarks and having the same few bobblehead leftists come on to agree with him. He’s an obvious coward who could only appeal to the same type of self-superior lefties who are actually afraid of real life.

The only way Keith can boost his ratings is by talking about Gov. Palin......

Palin won’t go to ANY MSNBC show because she’s a capitalist.

She wants her message to the widest possible audience.

She could get a bigger audience on any ham radio frequency than the best rated MSNBC show.

It’s the same reason Rush, O’Reilly or Hannity never respond to ANY of the abusive taunts spewed daily by Olberman, Schlutz or that man-girl(can’t think of her/him/it’s name)

They wish some of Fox’s ratings sucess wouldd rub off on them.

Olbermann has some serious mental issues.

Olberman is a paranoid narcissistic.

He wishes he had the "gravitas" of Edward R. Murrow (even plagiarizing Murrow's famous "good night, and good luck ")

Instead he winds up with a pisspoor imitation of Howard Beale, the ranting crazed newsman on the 1976 movie."Network" "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!" (Beale at least had some creditability, was entertaining and got ratings.)

Nobody is listening, much less echoing anything Olberman says. His "Worst Person of the Worldst" gimmick is a pathetic. Just pick a conservative and misquote whatever he/she said. Nothing original or creative.

I can't get mad at Olbermann for the same reason you don't get upset with the monkeys for throwing their feces at other monkeys and zoo attendees.

At the end of the day, sh@t washes off , the monkeys are behind bars and must live in the filth they made.

just like Olbermann and his conscious...
