An OOPART! Obviously a Victorian time traveler left it behind.

Is that painting based on an old sci-fi book? The bartender’s name was Justin, or Nick?

Can we use the archway at the busiest illegals crossing and they end up in Canada?

The chemistry in TOS was incredible.
Maybe we can have Karl Urban say it now. ;^O

As far as I know it's based on Callahan's Crosstime Saloon.
Said Saloon is found where you need it, when you need it, if you are VERY lucky, or exceptionally interesting.

That’s the one! (thank you, and wikipedia!)
I read one when I was just a kid, and all I could remember about it was the final pun, wich was when somebody called the bartender “Justin, the Nick o’ time”...but now I see it was probably “the MICK o’ time”...Everything makes sense now...THANK YOU!

As long as we are discussing mysterious things and events you might as well check out the Oregon Vortex where a person or broom can lean unsupported in an angle and will not fall over. Or a persons height can change by changing their position by a couple of feet. I do realize that Free Republic has many readers and perhaps there is some one who may come up with a reasonable explanation for these phenomenas??

This is straight from Michael Crichton’s “Timeline.”

Hey, that sounds just like the Santa Cruz Mystery Spot in California, which I've visited. They claim there's a mysterious energy force there that distorts gravity. You can drop a round object and watch it appear to roll uphill. People appear to be able to stand sideways on building walls.
