“We used to play with it all the time. Fun stuff”

So did I. Broke a thermometer one time and caught the mercury on something to retain it. Thought it was so cool that I coated my class ring with it. Turned the yellow gold white for awhile. Forget how I got it off the ring.

As a senior citizen, I am still blessed with good health as were/are my children and theirs.

I’m beginning to doubt whether these fools know anything at all - despite or because of all their degrees.

I know I broke a few thermometers back in the day. I think I’m okay.

I think that we all played with mercury when we were kids and we did it in a house where at least one parent smoked. Not only that, we ate lunch meat, apples sprayed with Alar, eggs, bacon, drank sugar laden soda pop, and we ran with scissors.

As adults, we ate oatmeal when it was good for us and quit when it was bad and then ate it again when it was good for us again. We did the same with coffee and other things that the experts told us was good for us or bad for us.

How did we ever survive?
