A group named Crashtheparty.org is planning on attending Tea Party rallies around the country tomorrow pretending to be party members. The strategy is to behave outrageously on Tax Day to provide fodder for the media, which likes to portray opponents to the Obama presidency as fringe radicals. The plot is part of the typical liberal playbook to silence opposition to the left-wing agenda.
The party crashers already have dropped into Tea Party meetings and rallies to stake out vulnerabilities. According to Jason Levin, head of Crashtheparty.org, the group has affiliates in 65 cities across the land. He unconvincingly claims that his group's bizarre antics will simply reflect the hidden views of Tea Partiers. "Do I think most of them are homophobes, racists or morons? Absolutely," Mr. Levin told Associated Press. . . .

Jason Levin is entitled to his own opinions, but not his own facts. He would not know the truth if it smacked him in the face.

Here's what I wrote just over a year ago:
(Quoting myself)Protest organizers need to beware agents provocateurs. Leftists have a lot more experience with protests than conservatives & they have always accused their enemies (government, capitalists, conservative governments, etc.) of placing agents provocateurs in the crowd; to incite violence, etc. & thereby give the demonstration bad PR. The leftists always accuse conservatives of doing what they're doing themselves so, it's likely they're already thinking about ways to disrupt conservative protests.
The most obvious way is a counter-protest. They're likely to happen. The important thing for conservative protest organizers to do, is avoid being goaded into a physical altercation with the counter-protesters. Expect a lot of provocation.
The less obvious way to disrupt conservative protests is through the use of agents provocateurs sprinkled amongst the conservative demonstrators. These provocateurs may try to incite violence against the counter protesters; or they may attempt to draw police into physical confrontations with the conservative demonstrators.
Agents provocateurs may also carry signs with offensive slogans or chant offensive things in order to smear the conservative demonstrators. The MSM will report the smears, and little else. Boundaries need to be established & enforced (tricky, because the agents provocateurs will then scream that their first amendment rights have been violated which would also be used as a smear).
The more effective (and therefore threatening to the leftists) conservative demonstrations become the dirtier the tricks you should expect. /end self-quote

"They can't actually debate our message, and that's their problem," explains Bob MacGuffie,When the left debates the Tea Party, then the left's message gets out, and this is not good news for the left.
