McCain and Palin: Reunited and Feeling Good ("I support his position on immigration")
Fox News ^ | 2010-03-27

(snip)

VAN SUSTEREN: Governor Palin, if you were vice president today, what would you be telling a President McCain about what to do about immigration, if anything?

PALIN: I support his position on immigration. It all comes down to securing the border. And he who has actually proposed some solutions, the Obama administration does not want to listen to Senator McCain or any other Republican, and that, of course, leads to a greater problem that we have in Washington, D.C. And it's that lack of the new administration's ability and enthusiasm for listening to those on the other side of the aisle who have some good solutions that they want considered.

You are a fraud. You never stick to the issues. I don’t think you even care about Palin. You are just a bully and an internet keyboard clown that likes to think you are meaner than the rest.

Frankly you are a delusional joke.

Do you ever read your posts?

You just committed the same sins you accused me of.

Good job!

And finally, If Sarah doesn't run or doesn't come down with some sort of conservative policy where Illegal Immigration is concerned, I'll vote for whatever worthless Boob (as you so eloquently phrased it) actually matches up to conservative positions on the issues.

I can't help but wonder - what if someone like Jim DeMint or Mike Pence runs? Is this pack of chihuahuas that push their 1%-er agenda going to call them names and try to destroy them as well?

I don’t care. You are unreasonable in that you act like there is actually a campaign going on. Which there isn’t.

If you can't see the campaign already starting with Myth Romney's actions and even Sarah's actions and everyone visiting IOWA and other assorted locations, you're missing the boat.

After Ronald Reagan lost the first time in 1976, Michael Reagan stated that his Dad went out on the stump from the point forward to build coalitions in support of his 1980 campaign.

That is exactly what several candidates are attempting to do right now including Sarah and Myth.

It will depend on who they are supporting.

It would be interesting to find out who indylindy is supporting right now, if he would admit to it.

You are what you are and you don’t even deny it. LOL

If you really cared about Palin you wouldn’t go to the extent of totally turning the undecided against her, just by your very actions. There is NO election for quite awhile yet. By the way, as usual, you failed to answer my question as to who you support if Palin does not run? After all, you all ask everyone else that question even though nobody has entered the race yet, not even Palin has entered the race.

Just because people have doubts 2 years out, does not mean they will not be supporting Palin in 2012. Your actions show the character of people who supposedly support her.

You are almost always nasty, so you deserve the same.

You can call in your helpers, but it won’t mean a thing other than to prove you are a coward.

OK, thank you for your opinion, dully noted.

But the only problem with your assertions are that you are starting from a false premise.

The people I have been posting too are not undecided about Palin, but are rabid, hyperbolic posters who do not deal in the truth, and many of them are already supporting another candidate.

Furthermore, if you had bothered to actually read my posts the last severaly days, you would have found that I asked multiple times for posters to provide proof, which they have not done as of yet for their accusations concerning Palin.

What I really think you are upset about, is that someone is consistently challenging posters like yourself who engage in such bullying tactics as false-labeling, hyperbole, and negative association.

Prove me wrong.

I don’t read that into her words. It’s very, very simple to say, “I do not agree with any general plan of amnesty, nor of giving any kind of legal status to 12 million lawbreakers. After they go home, we can talk about what needs to happen next.” There. See how easy that is?

LOL!

Now who was it a few posts above that was accusing me of being a meanie!

BTW, if I am so much a coward, why have I answered every single post of yours to me?

dully noted, your words, by the way. How apt. I won’t answer a question to you until you have answered mine.

If Palin does not run, which candidate that has said they are running will you support?

Mittens, oh wait, he hasn’t declared yet. Ron Paul, oh, wait, he hasn’t said he is running. How about Huckleberry? oops, nope he hasn’t declared yet either.

I wasn't called in; I was just reading the thread. SoConPubbie is perfecly capable of defending the points being debated.

You are right that the election is more than two years off and nobody has declared yet. But potential candidates appear to be starting to lay the groundwork.

I have a short list of candidates that I consider conservative and I hope will run. I'm observing what they say and do, so that come primary time, I'm armed with enough information to make an informed decision. Sarah Palin is on that list, as well as several others. I fervently hope we don't have anything like that "Rudy McRomney" field we had last time around.

My gripe with what is going on here is that I see a small but spammy group that has made it clear on other threads who they really support. And they seem to be denigrating Palin in order to support their own agenda, not for any interest in our country obtaining good leadership next time around.

I could be wrong, but I doubt it. I've been observing for a while and I've seen the spammy little pattern. Palin appears to be the "flavor of the month." I'll be watching to see who they go after next.

Which position would that be.

I seem to remember his pre-election position, and then his post-election position.

And pre-election depended on whether he was speaking to La Raza or a town hall in mid-America.

Disappointing.

If you are correct, then I would agree with you. I have no agenda.

I am just waiting to see the who will enter probably after the 2010 elections. None of them will be lily pure, so I will point out their flaws too.

Palin is a nice lady. I like her spunk. She has made some mistakes and I don’t cover for them.

However, if she is up against Obozo in 2012 as our candidate, she would get my vote.

Indy,

Come on.

Just because a candidate has not committed publicly to a race, does not mean they aren't running. All you have to do is look at their statements and actions.

For Myth, he has written a book laying out policy positions, much like Sarah has already done and Sarah is penning another books as well.

Both Myth and Sarah are campaigning for other candidates, raising cash, though Myth does not need to do this, and gathering support from various groups. Many other candidates, including Huckabee, Pawlenty, and to a lessor extent, Pence, Demint, and others are doing the same things. And finally, they are all speaking out on the issues of the days trying to cement their leadership positions, get PR, etc.

Now, as to your question concerning who I would support, Jim Demint would be my second choice followed closely by Duncan Hunter. I don't think Hunter has a chance, but he is the Man when it comes to policy positions.

The rest of the crew are too soft on one or more issues.

After the other two I mentioned, Mike Pence is the closest, he's just a little soft on Illegal Immigration like Sarah right now.

That being said, I'm hoping she clarifies what she means by no Amnesty and her other anti-illegal immigration comments and leaves me satisfied.

We will see!

Then Indy, we're all in agreeance, that is exactly how most of us who are supporting Sarah feel.
