It seems to me like they vote for the amendment to not fund abortions. But in turn that means it goes back to the Senate where it is dead. OR... they vote against it (which is ONLY abortion language), which means that HC passes, but they have now labeled themselves as pro-abortion.

It is a no win situation for the Stupack guys.
Yes = against abortion, against HC
No = for abortion, for HC

did I get that right?

Yes, you got it right. It is that simple.

The key though is for the Republicans to make the motion ONLY on the Stupak abortion language. This way, either these two-faced so-called pro-life Dems will be exposed as the frauds they are, or the bill will die.
