Isn’t this just the Stupak charade all over again? Republicans are afraid to vote against such a move, even though the vote itself has no impact and won’t stop the bill from becoming law. So the panties-in-a-wad feminists don’t have to vote for it, but it passes, which gives the Stupak stooges enough cover to vote the bill into law.

Republicans are going to vote against Stupak amendment because their constituents know they are pro-life and this is one chance in million to kill the bill. They understand how bad this bill is and the focus on abortion is a side issue as they understand Obama and his promises are not worth a thing.
