We must not have watched the same interview. Bret was calm and respectful, but he came back at him for answers several times and Obama complained several times that Bret was interrupting him. When the transcript is posted, perhaps you'll reach a different conclusion.

I also agree with Brit that the fact that he did the interview says he doesn’t have the votes. This guy is very desperate.

In the last little segment of the interview as they walked through the hallway, Obama seemed to equivocate the Israelis building houses with the Palestinians rioting. He bragged that the U. S. reacted to the rioting the same as to the house building.
