Reid: Okay, We Are Talking About Reconciliation

One of the more memorable moments at the bipartisan health care summit last month was the eruption by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid when Republicans urged Democrats to forego the use of the budget reconciliation process in passing any health care bill. Reid angrily insisting that talk of reconciliation was a GOP red herring:

“I read what the president has online,” he said, referring to the plan Obama released this week. “No one has talked about reconciliation, but that’s what you folks have talked about ever since that came out.”

Reid and the dims right now remind me of looters after a disaster - grab everything you can, whether you have a right to or not, as fast as you can before you get caught.

I think they are pathological liars. If they get caught, "Eh, so what." The means they use to maintain superiority are bribery, deception, and brute force. Among thieves, this is honorable.

Reid is talking about “Reconciliation”, aka “the nuclear option”.

Last night Krauthammer said they are also considering having Joe Biden over-rule the Senate Parliamentarian, which Krauthammer called the “Thermo-Nuclear Option”. Not sure what that scheme would exactly involve, but it has to do with sneaking anything that the House can pass without voting on it, past the Senate without voting on it either.

The Democrats are so desperate to pass something, anything, to give Premier Hussein a checkmark in the Victory column, they will say or do anything they can to get this done, including ignoring almost every major Article in the Constitution in one way or another. There are too many violations to count!

I hope there are a number of State Attorneys General who are waiting in the wings and gathering their briefs to file a Class Action lawsuit on behalf of the several States, and request an emergency stay until the Constitutionality of this “legislation” can be determined, up to and including the Supreme Court. That’s the last bastion against this atrocity, and I think there are a bunch of State AG’s with big enough stones to take a shot at it, if and when anything is actually signed into law.

This is SO rich! THe liberals have enough bodies to ram this thru. The BIG question is why all the theater? Why not just get the gang together and have a vote? Much of the talk following Obama’s announcement has focused on how to defeat this second bill through reconciliation, but that is misleading because the first step to defeating Obamacare is not by concentrating on defeating the “fixer” bill but by defeating the Senate bill in the House when it goes to the floor for an up-or-down vote on Thursday, March 18th.
