Former Vice President Al Gore says critics of his global warming warnings are part of a "massive, organized campaign."

Appearing on the Norwegian talk show “Skavlan” to promote his newest book "Our Choice," Gore said:

“There has been a very large, organized campaign to try to convince people that it [global warming] is not real, to try to convince people that they shouldn't worry about it.

"In my country, the oil and coal companies spent $500 million last year just on television advertising just on these questions. There are now five anti-climate lobbyists on Capitol Hill in Washington for every member of the House and Senate. So it's been a very massive, organized campaign."

“Gore rejected any allegation that he’s a “carbon billionaire.” “I wish that were true – it’s not,” he said, adding that he’s been fortunate in the business world since losing the race for president in 2000.”

That global warming has been very good for some of us, very good indeed.

Duh! Of course there are activists fighting against Al’s message and yes many are well organized. And there is an even larger campaign in favor of Hot Air Al’s malarkey.

Because this global warming hoax was so transparent, I and many others are skeptical and/or don't believe anything that scientists say that will drain money from our pockets.

For instance, on another topic, --> Was the info on smoking a hoax too? Why do I ask? mesothelioma... a form of lung cancer that people who worked in asbestoes laden factories. These people, many of whom were smokers, may have been counted only as smokers by the American Cancer Society for fundraising purposes.

I say that because two 35-year old studies came out in 2001 --> UC-Berkeley and UI-Urbana-Champaign declared that people are not affected by second-hand smoke.

At the time, the American Cancer Society went berzerk wonding how they could continue their fundraising. Both studies were squelched.

However, with mesothelioma, persons who come in contact with family members who come home covered with asbestoes can suffer the effects from breathing in asbestoes second-hand.

So, the latest that has come out from these so-called scientists is that people can suffer from third-hand smoke from a smoker's clothing.

And, a week or so ago, I put up an article about cyber security. Two days later this maggot from Microsoft was asking Congress for a tax to cover the costs of Internet Security. In my opinion, these Internet giants should cover their own costs for cyber security.

My point... always follow the money on these so-called claims because 9 times out of 10, these nitwits just want our money. Al Gore and GE and others had set themselves up to make mucho money at our expense.

I'm so sick of these people.

If I must give the warmists credit for one thing, it’s would be that they’ve done a fantastic job of organizing their scare campaign.

I'd say we have several organized campaigns and a bunch of natural skepticism. They have what may come to known as a criminal conspiracy. Al Gore may indeed deserve the Nobel Peace Prize...in somewhat the same way that Yasser Arafat deserved his.

Somewhere else someone wrote the following about climate skeptics. It goes hand in hand with Gore's comments.

Funny that the same people who spotted the ridiculous overreaching by the proponents of societal collapse through second and third-hand smoke, man-made acid rain, and man-made ozone depletion, should recognize the very same genus doing the very same thing with AGW/climate change. And let's not forget the alarmists' dire warnings about the epidemic of cancer coming by the 1990s because of the ocean of man-made carcinogens (especially DDT) or the population bomb that would render the world almost uninhabitable by the 1990s or the desertification that would quickly take over almost every bit of cultivated land. Those who can analyze and think nearly always can spot the huckster (unless he's a scientist taken in by Uri Geller). The same folks promoting all these disasters promise the same salvation if only we turn everything over to them before it's too late. Anybody promising to immanentize the eschaton is, by definition, a fraud.
