I admire her for showing grace under constant attack by the radical left.
I simply DO NOT want a repeat of a compromising RINO George W Bush presidency. That’s what got us Obama and Senate and Congress controlled by Democrats. A false sheep will always lead you astray.
But to the point of the thread. There is nothing "false" about Sarah Palin. Nothing at all.
This endorsement of McCain is not a sell out. It is not an indication that she is anything other than what we have always known her to be - a principled conservative.
It is possible for a rational person to DISAGREE with another person and not throw said person overboard because of the disagreement.
I disagree with Sarah's endorsement of McCain. It does not alter my respect for her one iota, because I am not arrogant enough to expect political leaders to do everything I want them to do. No one ever has, and no one ever will.
Surely there must be a slew of other things you don't like Sarah for, because if this is the only thing turning you from supporting her, then your respect for her was never real, was it?

Neither do I. I read Palin’s book. The salient thing I took away from it is that her entire history in Alaska, from the City Council to the Mayor’s Office to the Oil and Gas Commission Chairmanship to the Governor’s office is one of whacking away at government bloating and corruption adn the old boy networks that sustain it. She is no “go along to get along” type, much less than even Reagan was. She is not endorsing McCain to gain any political advantage (obviously) nor “to go along to get along”(which would be contrary to her entire history up to this time, but because she believes it is the RIGHT thing, the morally correct, thing for her, as a person, to do. She lives by that Code, and it is rare for a politician. that is why I really like her.
