Heh. I’m not afraid of their rotten egg cuisine, but they didn’t get the vaccine to the nearest town before the Mexican flu blew through twice and moved on. The whole place shut down for a week to break for all the pukin’ and squirtin’.

Not to kill us, but to get the whole zombie plague thing going.

No flu shots here. I go the natural route, and those of us who have been doing so in our family either have not been sick this winter or have been able to nip it in the bud immediately.

Interesting, although I’ve never gotten a flu shot. I do have a cold and bronchitis, though.

It’s made from the virus in CA in April. The actual flu viruses now are quite changed from that one. So it’ll be pretty useless. Even now people have gotten swine flu after getting the vax.
Flu viruses mutated extremely rapidly and this one more than regular seasonal ones, from what I read.

The '09 seasonal would have contained H1N1 had the virus shown up sooner.
Got both vaccines this year. Your mileage may vary.

There are no seasonal flu strains any more. Only swine variety. China claims it has lots of B Type but who the heck knows, they lie about everything. I’ve read articles from China (probably Epoch Times, dissenter site) saying that docs in China are ordered not to publicize swine flu cases or deaths, to say they’re from some other cause.

I got it twice, most likely. Of course most docs/hospitals didn’t and won’t test, and if often doesnt’ show up on tests.
It’s very bad.
I have always had a crappy immune system so I catch things easily, plus I have asthma. It’s very different from other flus I’ve had.

Have you ever tried camphor sawdust or oil for the asthma?
I know several people that rub camphor oil diluted in olive oil on the bottoms of their feet, and the palms of their hands, and one that keeps a shoebox of sawdust by her bed. They all say it works well.

Thanks. My asthma is pretty much under control as long as I do a number of things; one of which is stay totally away from all artificial perfumes and fragrances, and avoid petroleum products. I also watch food intake, certain foods aggravate it. I also take lung support herbs daily, and use essential oils. I make a Lung Assist EO formula using Eucalyptus, Pine, Spruce, Fir, Camphor, Peppermint, Thyme and Basil.
I don’t know how sawdust would work - any ideas? Is it from raw wood or regular kiln dried lumber?
But having even controlled asthma means flus in general and this one in particular, usually hit harder.
