Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh will not seek re-election this year, a decision that hands Republicans a prime pickup opportunity in the middle of the country.
"After all these years, my passion for service to my fellow citizens is undiminished, but my desire to do so by serving in Congress has waned," Bayh will say.

He screwed his constituents, especially the medical field. That is why he lost his “interest”.

He was supposed to be a big Dim star. The Obama era sure is thinning out the Dim ranks, all for the better if Indiana will send a conservative to the Senate.
And they still have a RINO they need to do something about. Unfortunately, I think he was reelected in 2008.
