The future of Nuclear Energy is in Cold Fusion. I just hope that Obama doesn’t get the credit for it.

“Overunity technology may be a reality.”
Yeah. Call me when you have a functioning unit installed in your house.
It’s a scam, man, get over it.
“He knows that the EPA wont allow it.”
Don’t they work for him?
What’s the catch.
With this liar there is always a poison pill.
All talk and no walk. I will believe it when I see it... and not one second sooner.
I have yet to see a single day pass when Obama wasn’t trying to pull another con. The fool lies without guilt.
If it’s the right thing to do and if it’s good for America, you can count on another lie and another Obama failure.
"This isn't really an electronics store, is it!?"
"Non, monsieur."
"You realize, I am going to have to shoot you."
Republican president, Nuclear.......bad
Democrate president, Nuclear........good!
Don’t hold your breath. I hope you haven’t invested.
He also mentioned more off shore drilling.
Perhaps someone can confirm or correct the following description I was once given of the way the nuclear power plant industry works today in our USA.
You first need a permit to build the plant. The approval process, in terms of both regulatory and political costs, is estimated at 250 to 500 million dollars.
Once the building permit is obtained, the erection of the physical plant may go forward at a cost of about three billion dollars or so.
When construction of the plant is completed, the owners must then apply for a completely separate operating license, which MAY or MAY NOT be granted at the whim of the governing regulatory agency. Supposedly, there is a nuclear plant built in California (early 80’s?) that was denied an operating license and has never generated a single watt of power. If true, this is simply mind-boggling and explains why no investor in his right mind would conceive of backing a nuclear power project in this country.
As an aside - whenever Barbra Streisand threatens to take refuge in France in response to the election of some one or another political leader who fails to meet her peculiar ideological standards, I wonder if she realizes that three-quarters of the electricity provided on the French national grid is generated by nuclear power?
How utterly stupid and ignorant these people are.
Because leftists with no common sense have invaded the EPA and the NRC?
Because power companies and their investors are shy about sinking money into a project that is guaranteed to draw environmental activist lawyers like flies on poo?
All I ever see in these demonstrations are measurements of input power and output power to calculate their "overunity" ratio. But there's ALWAYS an external power source providing the input. They're wasting people's time until that external power source is completely out of the picture.
wait...Lindsey (Kerry and Leiberman) will be out shortly to try to sell the country down the river with bi-partisan agreement on carbon credits.
Groan. How will this one be any different than the gazillion other identical pronouncements thru hstory? Always a “gonna change the world” announcement, always claims of suppression by the powerful, always “this one is different”, and always an additional power source attached accompanied by some inane handwaving. It’s another perpetual motion machine, which doesn’t work - EVER.
Yeah, free energy from a perpetual motion machine. You wanna buy some snake oil, or maybe a bridge?
The process has been banned or obstructed for decades here.
Carter banned it in 1977.
Reagan overturned it but never funded it.
0bama DOE reversed plans in July 2009.
Because the last President with a 60 vote Democrat Senate, Jimmy Carter, killed our breeder reactor program on behalf of the environmentalist lobby.
“Cold-fusion demonstration a success”
I’ll borrow from another poster: Call me when you have a unit installed in your house.
I never realized how many suckers we have on this forum. From the Moon landing to Ron Paul to cold fusion, Paul Crouch and Kenneth Copeland, the lack of discernment is disconcerting.
It’s been a good fifteen years or so. Not everything you read on the internet is true.
