Senator McCain, along with Senator John Kerry, succeeded in normalizing relations with North Vietnam against the opposition of Senator Bob Smith of New Hampshire who said that we should not recognize North Vietnam until all MIA's are accounted for. Senator Smith was convinced that prisoners had been left behind after the war. My husband flew F4's in Vietnam and he too, is convinced that we left MIAs behind.
When the Vietnam Prime Minister came to Washington, he was given a big bear hug by Senator McCain - I as told that this is the same guy who ordered the torture and execution of our POWs.

It was one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do - was to vote for RINO John McCain, and if Sarah hadn't been there........it is questionable.
I KNOW Sarah Palin is the reason I pulled for McCain.
McCain wanted a skirt since he could not have country club buddy lieberman (supposedly).
McCain did not think Palin the conservative mattered.
Remember McCain surrendered MICHIGAN and did not think “joe the plumber” was relavent.
Washington DC has lost complete reality with teh electorate. The insiders DO thnk they can take turns as to who is or is not president or in power.
