I’m glad I saw this article. I always knew KFC uses their food to demean and ridicule people. Now these wise and knowledgeable American commentators have brought truth to light. I mean what is up with original or extra crispy? Those are definitely racist code words. And mashed potatoes and cole slaw, don’t get me started. I mean you can substitute one of the side dishes for .. for.. for... corn-on-the-cob. Now that is racist.

This afternoon at a KFC I saw an elderly lady (who came in with a walker, likely someone from the local retirement community) eating corn on the cob. She was white. She appeared to be enjoying her meal, to the extent that she was blissfully unaware she was engaging in a RACIST statement.

The Asian customers who came in to take advantage of the Tuesday lunch deal (I think 1.99 for two pieces of chicken and a biscuit) must have been in on the plot, too.

Forget KFC, a local black guy makes the best fried chicken I have ever had. It is absolutely wonderful, though my arteries probably don't share that opinion.

KFC can easily fix this disgraceful and deliberate act of racism.

Announce that KFC will no longer sell their chicken to black folks.... there, it’s fixed and everyone should now be happy.

My mom remembers the KFC of old. She said it was the best. I had it in the 70's as a kid and remember it tasting very good. Of course, I ate Swanson's TV dinners too and thought they were very good. They probably were back then though. Anyway, I don't think the KFC of today is the Kentucky Fried Chick of old. Ah, wouldn't it be nice to go back in time sometimes.

About 10 or so years ago a local supermarket (Publix) had a special on their deli fried chicken - on MLK’s birthday.

You’d have thought with all the wailing and gnashing of teeth that someone had walked up to Al Sharpton and had asked for a shoe shine.
