Yes it is. I’ve done that work, for a lot less. For $50 an hour I’ll do it again, in a minute. Americans work. That’s what we do best. Our governing class does not understand this. They don’t work, in fact they will dodge it any chance they get. Name one honest job obama’s ever had and I’ll eat every word. He is famous for avoiding anything which might be categorized as difficult, but that tendency is seen as a virtue by people like McCain. They and their supporters are a load on all working people in this country, from produce pickers to industrial designers. Too much of their labor is wasted to support a system which is clearly their adversary.

$104,000 a year to pick. That’s some high priced lettuce.

It’s from 2006.

“McCain responded by saying immigrants were taking jobs nobody else wanted. He offered anybody in the crowd $50 an hour to pick lettuce in Arizona.

Shouts of protest rose from the crowd, with some accepting McCain’s job offer.

“I’ll take it!” one man shouted.

McCain insisted none of them would do such menial labor for a complete season. “You can’t do it, my friends.”

Some in the crowd said they didn’t appreciate McCain questioning their work ethic.”

$50.00 an hour? McCain has lost touch with average American men. I’d gladly pick lettuce for 50.00 an hour and work six days a week and I have had some of the worst jobs one can imagine.

Dairy workers at 2.10 an hour rates right up there with them. and no, this wasn’t in 1950.

McLame might have been in the middle of a “senior moment”. He might have meant $5.00 an hour. ;0)

Oh, yes, it’s all too real. I’m stunned you hadn’t seen it before. Thousands of people sent letters to McCain, offering to take the job ‘none of us’ would do.

Not really. McWeevil was born with a silver McSpoon in his mouth. He's a prime example of the failure of the GOP pedigreed poodle puppy mill.
