Actually, Barry was reportedly born at one hospital, and then the wire services and some other websites scrubbed their information and revised with the name of another hospital (the one that now celebrates his birth there).
And no, I don't honestly think that Rush had ulterior motives for going to the hospital (and it isn't even the same one). Just some NYE levity.
