I think the photo you posted has been doctored. It looks like they us the "soft focus" button on that one.

The lighting and color balance in those two shots are so different that it’s really unfair to compare the two. The somewhat more “sinister” smile doesn’t help, either.
That said, she does look pretty good for 59. But I also agree with posters upthread that said that if they airbrush photos for cosmetics ads... that’s tantamount to false advertising.

Guys, the angle that the photo is taken, lighting, all these things can change the way a face looks. That is why you see photographers going at politicians from so many angles, just so they can get the worst (or best) photo they can. That photo of Twiggy is just taken at a bad moment.
