No matter where one might stand on politics; this is pretty bad, IMHO as the very closeness that measured this man's success only emboldens others with such inflamed imaginations or 'sensitivities'; or just plain terrorist agenda. The same applies to the actions of WH gate crashers,Tareq and Michaele Salahi; whom at least, did not pull out a statue of the White House.
That said, where WAS Berlusconi's Security?
BTW, I just read that a model of the cathedral in Paris was thrown at Sarkozy this weekend (didn’t hit him, though). I wonder if this was actually more significant than “just a nut.”
