Glen Martin Green, who beat an 18-year-old pregnant woman with Chinese martial-arts sticks, raped her as she barely clung to life, ran over her repeatedly with his car, then dumped her in the bayou. He was sentenced to life in prison, but Huckabee was convinced by Rev. Johnny Jackson, who had close ties to Huckabee, that Green had found God and did not mean to kill the woman.

I think all 50 states need a law that makes all parole boards and all Governors criminally and civilly responsible for any criminal they release onto society before the sentence is served.
Thank you for the link.
Yes.
I've been screaming that for years.
It's the only thing these jokers fear. Monetary judgment against them.
Of course, Huckabee believes everything a preacher tells him. Mikey also has an imaginary friend.
More of these monsters he released will re-offend too, it’s just a matter of time.
Good info. Another out of the way.
Now let’s keep a close eye on Romney. He’s not worthy as a president.
Another wishy-washy Obama type. Along with McLame.
Health care fiasco in Massachusetts will take Romney out.
That link is a must read for all Americans. I have no idea how Huckabee can show his face in public. Does he have no conscience? Does he have no shame? Why aren’t any politicians or reporters calling for PARDON/CLEMENCY REFORM. We clearly need it at both the state and federal levels, even if it means amending the Constitution.
Huckabee’s left-wing religious beliefs caused him to let inmates out of prison as long as they said they had found God. That should not have anything to do with clemency or pardons. Anybody (especially violent criminals) can lie and fool a governor, especially one as naive as Huckabee. Clemency should be used rarely (if at all) and only in cases where there were severe flaws in the original prosecution or in cases where the crime committed was nonviolent or trivial.
If this was old Japan, he would do tthe honorable thing...
If I was a victim's relative, I'd assist him....forcefully...
