By Seattle Times staff A SWAT team and police negotiators surrounded a Leschi home in Seattle where the man sought for questioning in the Lakewood police shooting may be hiding. Police responded to the home at East Yesler Way and 32nd Avenue South where police stopped a woman who was leaving the home. She told them Maurice Clemmons was on the property and bleeding, according to a law enforcement source. The woman told police that someone had dropped Clemmons off at the home. The source also said police had received tips about two other properties they needed to search, in Queen Anne and Renton. At 8:44 p.m., Seattle police received information that the person of interest may be in a Leschi home, according to Seattle police spokesman Jeff Kappel. Police are now trying to confirm the identity of the person inside. Police blocked off the street at East Yesler and 30th Avenue South. Police are telling residents to stay indoors and keep their doors locked.

I believe the ‘one in custody’ statement involved a different incident. The scanner feed has all the dispatch channels on it, not just the ones involved in this incident. I’d refrain from celebrating until you hear the IC send everybody home.

I hope with all my heart that he’s not suffering from paranoid schizophrenia, but I heard it bantered around on Geraldo’s show (Kimberly was sitting in for Geraldo which is why I watched)that he has delusions of police following him and thinks he’s Jesus, and now I read a post two above yours by Machogirl that she read an article that claimed he said Obama was coming to see him to prove he’s the Messiah!

I do not want to see this criminal beat the rap. He executed two police officers and slaughtered two others. He needs to be killed. He must pay with his sorry life for these crimes and for the rape of the child too. He needs a slow, painful death.
You know, cops always circle the wagons when one of their own and I don’t blame them one bit for that. But what I don’t like is the double-standard many, many cops have when it comes to citizen concealed carry or citizens just having a gun in the house. A lot of them have a real exclusive attitude about personal protection and firearms.
LOL! They want you to call THEM if something big is going down in your home and you have seconds to act.
That said, this is just another case of black crime in America and I hope they blow ol’ Maurice clear out of the gene pool.
