Gov. Rick Perry had some pretty strong comments about the Obama administration on Wednesday in Midland, saying, “This is an administration hell-bent on taking America towards a socialist country.”

With all respect, that is a statement the governor could have made long ago, and it would have been better for everyone concerned. NOW, he’s just parroting every true Conservative in the country. WE KNEW THIS ALL ALONG!!!!

Fascism
a. A system of government marked by centralization of
authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls,
suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship,
and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.

Yep! That shoe fits.

I hope Rick Perry continues on this track. Texas is the best state ever and it would be awful if Kay Bailey Hutchinson won. She was dancing around the terrorism issue after the terror attack on Fort Hood. I’m moving to Spring TX in another year. I can’t wait.

This comes from Perry the Puke? A man who advocated under force of law that young Texan women be FORCED to be injected with the drug Guardasil! Up yours Rick Perry!

Rick Perry is not qualified to do anything. He has not a single talent for anything other than being a poltiician who can only suck at the public tit. He has never built anything, done anything, accomplished anything on his own.

Perry needs to set himself up for retirement. That's what ths is all about. As was his pushing of the land stealing Trans-Texas corridor.

Rick Perry, just another liberal puke!

Is that rant an endorsement of Kay Bailey Hutchinson for Governor?

I'm not a big Perry fan either, but...

Hmmmm Interesting reaction. Have you seen the video of his remarks? In it he reasserts his strong support of the 10 th Amendment, decries the Obama’s push of this country into socialism, warns of the serious negative impact of Obamacare etc etc. Liberal Puke?? Geez then Perry is my brand of Liberal

This really should be in Breaking News since no one has discussed this aspect of the Obama administration before.

Some other bullet points that Perry discusses in this video:

- Washington is now past “not caring about” Texas and has moved onto “Punishing” Texas
- Again, he brought up his support for the 10th amendment
- Cap n Trade is an economic cap on the entire Souther US

Let’s see if he moves to call a special session of the Texas legislature to nullify Health Care and Cap n Trade when they pass. Otherwise, Texas legislators do not meet again until 2011.

74 illegals will be bussed south a day? Hahahahahahaha, that’s a nothing. Every day there are charter sized buses FROM Mexico (or rather a southern gathering point on this side of the river) pulling over on the shoulder of I-35 just south of Austin, TX for the passengers to run across the frontage road to grab a meal from the lunch wagon. Further north on I-35 at Temple, TX is a rest stop at a convenience store for a potty run and to buy snacks.

Think critically here, subtle add to bring “your” (i.e. us here and others like us) skills and your capital to the State of Texas and try to fend off the Socialism as we might remain the last bastion against he who will not be named the Poseur from Chicago.....

It's all talk. No different than Obama pretending to be what he is not or someone like Jeb Bush pretending to be conservative.

As far as the questions to me here about KBH? My retort is that having to decide between Kay and Rick is like deciding which is better, a turd sandwish or a douche bag.

Perry is what he is and he is not a conservative. Never has been, never will be.

Can the Republic of Texas be far away? The rest of the country may put up with indentured servitude to the federal government, but Texas will not. IMHO, it is time to jump off the Titanic.

While you’re right about Perry not being a conservative, however there isn’t a better candidate in the running. KBH is becoming more wacky every day and is as far left as you can get despite the R behind her name. The Palestinian, Shami Farouk, was to throw his skull cap into the ring next week and offer 5000 illegals jobs at his hair products company. Thankfully, Lance-baby has backed off running. Kinky doesn’t have any more of a chance than he ever has had but as more people get ticked off he’ll be the only one who could give Gov. Good-hair or KBH a run for their money.
