I'm not so sure...Dingy Harry has a big dilemma on his hands. He's in real trouble in Nevada and if he pushes through the bill using the nuclear option, then he's as good as toast and he knows it.

At the same time, he also knows that he needs to appear to be supporting Obama and Pelosi 110% and ramming the bill through for the good of the party.

Secretly though, I suspect that he's looking for a way to kill it, while absolving himself of all blame for its demise.

H1N1 Shortages demand resignation of the HHS Secretary but do you think that will happen? The Government can’t manage or run anything and Americans by and large know that.

KILL THE BILL.

I see indications that the PUMAs are abandoning the Clintons after this latest move by Bill. You can’t keep your base, such as it is, by supporting its worst enemy.

They know the bill is unpopular. They know that passing it will cost them seats. They don’t care. This is a once in a century chance for them to take over 1/6 of the economy. They know if it passes, even if they lose power in the next election it will not be undone, as entitlements never are.

When we take over Congress I expect the most aggressive hostile takeover that anyone could ever imagine. These crooked dictators will be investigated and thrown in jail for crimes against the American people. ENOUGH is Enough!!!

So if Reid pushes for the nuclear option and this travesty is signed into law, what are the chances of its Constitutionality being challenged, and overturned by the USSC?

The chances of its' constitutionality being challenged & overturned by the USSC??? Somewhere between Never & None. There is absolutely not a shred of evidence that 0bozo will count on his 4 main liberals and then he will put any pressure necessary on the swing vote Kennedy who will wilt & capitulate like a dead flower. No, if this ends up in the USSC it will enshrine socialized health care debacle even more so than abortion in Roe vs Wade.

These people believe they are going to lose no matter what they do, so they may as well pass health care. Meanwhile, Obamalamadingdong plays politics with the military. He’s like a petulant child who wants his way or else.

Can’t wait to have both Virginia senate seats back. It will happen.

Not likely. This is the same bunch of repubs that went squishy for 8 years under Bush. They haven’t the stones to stand up for anything...to busy trying to ‘reach across the aisle’. They talk big now, but watch: They’ll get power and immediatly go limp.

I’m not talking about the Constitutionality of Senate rules, I’m talking about the whole damn bill!

Well, I thought that McCain-Feingold was surely unconstitutional and would probably be ashcanned by the court.

So, I'm not inclined to trust the court's decision on health care.

they will pass it without the public option to get the votes they need and then put it back in during reconciliation.

If this happens, it should be repealed with 51 votes. Ditto for all government programs since the New Deal.

I think they are voted out either way. They have revealed themselves and their party as marxists. They are probably right to push for their marxist policies now, because they won’t get another chance. Not for 14 years, anyway, if history is a guide.

Even if the filibuster is busted, the votes may not be there for it to pass with the cost and the public option.

Also, the major problem is the Abortion amendement, which over 40 pro-abortionists have stated will lead to them not voting for the final bill.

Even if only 5 keep their word, it would kill the Bill.
