To: An Old Man
This was surely a major attack on the American homeland by a Muslim terrorist.

Depending on the definition one uses, this may not qualify as terrorism.

Most definitions emphasize the civilian nature of the target. This was a military target.

There are lots of other negative terms to use to describe it: murder, treason, betrayal of one's salt, etc.

He still purposely picked an unarmed crowd.
Kind of a grey area between a civilian and military target there.
