My bet is that Obama is very concerned that this happened in Texas. He is probably working furiously to get the locals out of the investigation and put his Holder DOJ in to play ‘clean up’. Things are going to leak and leak soon. You don’t mess with Texas. Not sure why, but my thoughts are running to the anti-war women from the media that Obama sent to the DOD shortly after he took office(can’t remember her name right now). My guess is that she is somehow involved in promoting this islamist nut and getting the FBI off his back. His anti-war rhetoric mirrors Obama’s own administration and campaign cronies like Code Pink/George Soros. Only a liberal leftist nut would have wanted to promote a guy like this and keep him in the military. I would look for statements he made in the past few years about Gitmo, Abu Graib or ‘suicides’ in our military as being the reason the guy was promoted when Obama took office. Someone from Obama’s team knows this guy and wanted him promoted because of his views. Mark my word.

Ft. Hood is a huge base....about 70,000 people. Between Walter Reed and Hasan’s Ft. Hood gig, we’re gonna find out plenty...and it just might point to Obama as running interference for the guy.

I think that you’re right, someone on the Obama team knew this guy and was familiar with his thinking.
