Silvio Berlusconi, Italy's gaffe-prone prime minister, has again referred to US President Barack Obama as "suntanned", days after being snubbed by Michelle Obama at the G20 meeting in Pittsburgh.
"I bring you greetings from a person who is called...a person who is sun-tanned...Barack Obama," the smiling 72-year-old politician told a crowd of cheering supporters in Milan on Sunday.
"You wouldn't believe it, but they go sunbathing at the beach together - his wife is also sun-tanned."
He said his rapport with America's first black president was "easy-going" and described Mr Obama as a "fine man" with a good sense of irony, as the crowd chanted "Silvio, Silvio" and his campaign slogan, "Thank goodness for Silvio".
At the G20 meeting last week, Mrs Obama pointedly chose to shake Mr Berlusconi's hand rather than give him hug and a kiss on the cheek, as she did to other world leaders.

I was telling a friend last night that the way it’s looking....England, France and Spain will be trying to invade our shores soon if Obama keeps up these shenanigans with these various dictators...LOL!

Of course he is. When I was at Parris Island in the winter/spring of 1970, all of us got darker on the exposed parts and that included those with skin color like Obama's.
Now, typing errors are series around her.
Agree’ and the aggrieved response is what is inappropriate. So go ahead Obama; give Berlusconi some demerits and a whack wtih a paddle. And then; get over yourself. .

He is telling the truth. I have noticed that Obama gets out in the sun every chance he gets, to make sure that he looks darker than normal.
Are you leaving it up to use to figure out what the other 1/16 is? I'd say B.S. but it's much more than 1/16.
The story, by a seemingly reputable reporter, was that he was 1/2 white, 7/16 arab, and 1/16 black. But I now think that the reporter was honestly mistaken.
Moreover, FWIW, if you look at photos of Obama, Sr, who is supposedly Obama’s father, he looks very black, both in color and in facial features. People point out that that doesn’t necessarily mean that Obama couldn’t turn out very light, but it does throw considerable doubt on the thesis that Obama Sr. was mostly Arab.
The confusion resulted, I believe from the fact that Obama’s ancestors all appear to have been Muslims, and that the earlier ones were slave traders. But black Muslim Africans were commonly known to trade their fellow black Africans as slaves, if they were animists or Christians.
