To continue the metaphor, the bronco needs to get a few good kicks and stomps in and cause the cowboy to crawl away thanking God he’s still alive.

Colonial Bank Failure Highlights The Problem

(The Last Three Paragraphs Of This Article Got my Attention - We're Not Like Europeans)

[snip]

One might think that these shareholders might be getting tired of being financially “raped” by these banksters. However, as I pointed out in “Explaining U.S. Market Psychology”, more than 50% of the shares of these fraud-factories are held by the wealthiest 1% of the U.S. population. These ultra-wealthy aristocrats are more out of touch with the real world than was Marie Antoinette – when she offered the starving French masses “cake”, just days before they chopped off her head.

While this is unlikely to occur in the United States (given the acute shortage of guillotines), it might be time for the Wall Street banksters to take heed of history.

They may own the politicians. They may own the regulators. And they may simply own most of America. However, they don't own the billion or so guns currently in the possession of an increasingly angry American population.

Massive economic suffering and a billion guns is a very dangerous mix!

I can't stand obomacare we agree on that, but I wouldn't want to ride a horse started with that mind set.
You have done some watching but totally missed what was going on between his ears and what the trainer was after. There have been a lot of books written on this subject and they contain a lot more information than I can put here.
I'm ranch raised and have been riding and starting horses for more than 45 years. Yous seem to know some of the steps to this dance but do not know the purpose of them, significance of them, why the trainer is doing them, where they are leading, or how the horse is going to get there.

The BBC is trash. Conservatives enmasse should dump cable and sat TV service. This is what they use to control us.

There's plenty of cars with stickers that say "I'm stupid as hell" in the form of Obama/Biden campaign stickers. It shouldn't be hard to spot one of these fools. It's just a lot more fun to hand them layoff notices.

The Ruling Classes are locked into permanent power just like Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi. It's just the old European aristocracy under a new label. The permanent Ruling Class sends out an endless stream of commands, and the only appeal is to the bureaucracy itself.

So true.. that been the plan... what the so called "progressives" call progress is repacking the old ruling class / serf model

Hayek did not call his book the Road to Serfdom for nothing...

I carried the metaphor further with what really needs to be done.

"Nobody wants to be accused of being a racist, a smoker, or a hater"

I couldn't care less about being called a racist. In fact, now that it means someone who opposes Obama, it's a badge of honor.

The dims went to that well too many times.

Ordinary people end up wading in a swamp of threats, rewards and propaganda that keeps them intimidated and cowed.

Very good. That's exactly what happens. It has actually been in progress here for some time, as we get one politically correct little law after another, and perhaps this is our chance to see it as a whole and stop the process.

But maybe it's too late. What we are facing now is really the final move of an empowered political class to break us and make us prisoners forever, and we must resist it.

Also, I don't think it's going to limit itself to bureaucratic harrassment. Obama is a very vicious, power-hungry person, and I think we'll see open, raw force from him as he realizes that Americans are beginning to resist.

My Obama-voting friends are having second thoughts, never thought I would see it. They are anti-life, anti-gun, pro-free-care, etc, but even so, they are starting to realize the danger coming from the left. I think it's because they are hard working and independent and realize that Obama-care means dependency.

I think there are some people for whom the wake-up call has finally arrived. I was really amazed when I was standing with several other people at a local historical research site a few days ago and a swarm of Americorps workers suddenly descended on us, intrusive and insane and wearing that big, Moonie-type cultist smile. They wanted us to know were from the government and they were going to “help the community.” (We didn’t know we needed any “help.”)

After they left, one very liberal lady in our group muttered under breath, “Hitler Youth.” I was stunned, because if Obama is losing the liberal ladies, he’s losing a key group and this could be important.

I'm ranch raised

I'm farm raised (we had a few cattle but no ranch).

But I understand the mindset also.

Some broncs are not worth the trouble to break. I will not be a good little Dhemmi!

I said that in past tense, and that is not accurate.

Although I do not farm, my father and uncle own and operate land that has been owned and operated by our family for over 110 years.

Ranchers will understand that.

We are facing the “changing of the guard again” here, and we are all committed to continuing this.

We are in a serious battle for the freedom of our Nation. I pray that the blowback (quick reaction) and backlash (delayed reaction) are strong enough to repel the assault.

I am confident about how Texans feel, but not as sure about some other states.
