What about YOUR future pregnancies that may reveal a handicapped child? My daughter was born in 1987 with a hole in her diaphragm. They whisked her away to a children’s hosptial where she immediately received newly innovated lifesaving surgery. They totally solved her problem, with no further effects. But it was very high-stakes stuff that involved the most high-tech procedures available, and days in ICU. Under Obama, this beautiful young woman’s postnatal surgery might be deemed unworthy.
