Deeds for Governor ^ | 8/4/2009 | Jared Leopold

Once again, Deeds appears to have impeccable timing, deciding to tie himself to the incredible sinking poll numbers of The Teleprompted One and Obamacare.

Hmm. That’s pretty close to me. I wonder if I could get tix, just scope the scene out.

This could very well hurt Mr. Deeds.

Northern Virginia is beginning to get a bad after taste in its political mouth now that Mr. Obama has been in office for six months.

According to today’s “Washington Post,” once female voter who went for Mr. O, says “I feel like I’ve been punked.”

No kidding.

Batman, Robin and the Joker- all in one place. It doesn’t get much better.

“Northern Virginia is beginning....”

I noticed that both appearances are in NOVA. Wonder why he doesn’t head down to southwest or southside Va? My wife and I are both natives of that area of the Commonwealth, and from what I gather, BO ain’t winning a lot of friends there.-—JM

I think this is a good sign. It tells me that Deeds knows he’s far behind in the polls, and has no choice but to throw all his eggs in one basket and hope Obama can deliver a “Hail Mary pass” by enhancing turnout among those at the bottom of the food chain who make up a disproportionate share of the Democratic electorate.

Me too, since I am close I am wondering if I could infiltrate.

Last time I was at the Sheraton in McLean it was kind of a dump, perhaps they need a little stimulus.

If you’re nearby, you know there’s no shortage of $$$ at Tyson’s corner. Pretty ritzy, although I’ve never been inside the Hilton there.

All up coming venues will be screened for friendly participants and pre-approved questions that will allow obama to fillabuster his talking points .

I’ll email to my cousins and tell them to “snitch” the details to all their pro-life friends.

My cousins are not FReepers, but strong conservatives, military, homeschoolers and pro-lifers. I will refer them to one of your photos in the various threads and have them look for you.

Deeds is throwing a burning rubber tire around his own neck by hooking up with BO. This can only help Bob McDonnell. Deeds ran to the middle in the primary to beat the awful, carpet bagging Terry McAuliffe. Now his true colors, such as they are, are beginning to show. “Vote for me, I’ll help BO impose socialism on the entire country, starting with Virginia.”

So, everybody keep their mouth shut until they’re actually inside. And don’t wear those Joker Ts, they are a dead giveaway.

From yesterday's PPP poll:
Barack Obama's approval rating in Virginia is down to 42% among likely voters for this fall's election, while 51% disapprove of him. That's a strong decline from a positive 48/46 spread a month ago. And only 14% of voters in the likely electorate say a visit from him will make them more likely to vote for Creigh Deeds, while 37% say it will make them less likely to do so.

Thanks. Democrats sure have deep pockets. I read Deeds is beating McDonnell in fundraising even though McDonnell is doing so well in the polls. Maybe that will change as McDonnell’s poll numbers remain steadily high.

I wonder if somebody could mock up a poster of Deeds as Two-Face.

It would fit with the theme of the “Socialist” poster but more cutting in that Democrats campaign one way and govern another.

In fact, I envision a lot of Democrat politicians being morphed into Two-Face.
