I picked up an old book awhile ago and a thrift store on Krakatoa. Full of old telegrams, letters, photos, etc. of Krakatoa from the 1800’s. Amazing stuff. It was mainly the HUGE tsunami that was created from the eruption. MUCH larger than the Indian ocean tsunami IIRC.
