Members of a prominent Chicago-based sorority are suing to oust their national president -- former Chicago Housing Authority comptroller Barbara McKinzie -- saying she misappropriated funds and commissioned a $900,000 wax figure of herself.
She also is accused of taking nearly $400,000 for personal expenses and arranging for a $4,000 monthly stipend to be paid to herself after she leaves office.

I’m not “starting” except to point out the double standard on racism.
What is it exactly that “I know”?
And no, HUMANS don't simply destroy their institutions because they are no longer needed. It takes a lot of time, and such organizations must wither on the vine in their own time.
Things will change but slowly. Like Lincoln University in MO is a historically "black" College (HCBU) started in 1866 by black soldiers following the Civil War, but it has now evolved into a majority non-black school. Only took a hundred years.
And no, black fraternities and sororities are not "black only". I've know white men who were Alpha-Phi-Alpha (the brother frat of the AKA).
Yes, it is a great sorority. This woman isn’t representative of the character of its members.
This story is almost a representative microcosm of the character of leadership in many of our institutions and especially the federal gov’t.
It’s astonishing to see the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barbara Boxer, et al, on the Hill and the Obama Administration full of tax cheats, liars, etc., trying to gather more power for themselves and rape the American people, and destroy our way of life in the process.
So, again, why continue with the adjective prefix of “black”. No one is asking for a destruction of an institution, just an update on the name and description.
It is divisive and puts forth a double standard.
Another sure shoe in for obozo, the liar, Whitehouse team, she’ll fit right in with the rest of the corrupt band of merry thieves.

Give it Time. Either they will become so integrated that describing them as black no longer has any meaning, or they will wither as more black men and women enter the formerly “white” organizations.

The description hasn’t changed from when blacks were not accepted into white frats.

Actually, there are several white members of all of the BGLO (Black Greek Lettered Organizations). One of the international officers is white, I believe.
