The treason you mean may be committed only with respect to a country. But if you live in One World Without Borders, as does the Left, there is no treason: you cannot commit treason with respect to the entire mankind. If your are a World, rather than American, citizen, you tolerate domestic jihadists, illegal immigrants, etc.
Well, so far we do have a country with borders. I expect that the laws against treason should be upheld. Of course, then again, there is Obama and his ilk running the show.
