You're clinging to some outdated picture of the world where there's only good guys and bad guys. And in reality, some great people have flaws and some bad people have redeeming qualities.
And no one has a de facto monopoly on truth. As for being a poor Alinskyite, I would hope that I would be so. As for being a logician, you are very poor at it.
