As the U.S. Senate now prepares to consider the cap-and-trade climate bill recently passed by the house, they will want to consider all the facts related to this landmark spending program. So far we have learned that the Environmental Protection Agency has suppressed an internal report skeptical about the wild global warming claims and now, from across the pond, we find out that a polar bear expert has been forbidden by global warming alarmists from reporting that most of those animals have actually been increasing in population during the past few years or are at optimum levels.
Although you won't find this story anywhere in the American media, Christopher Booker of the UK Telegraph has delivered an excellent report on this inconvenient truth supression:
Over the coming days a curiously revealing event will be taking place in Copenhagen. Top of the agenda at a meeting of the Polar Bear Specialist Group (set up under the International Union for the Conservation of Nature/Species Survival Commission) will be the need to produce a suitably scary report on how polar bears are being threatened with extinction by man-made global warming.
This is one of a steady drizzle of events planned to stoke up alarm in the run-up to the UN's major conference on climate change in Copenhagen next December. But one of the world's leading experts on polar bears has been told to stay away from this week's meeting, specifically because his views on global warming do not accord with those of the rest of the group.

PING!
In this video documentary about “Anthropogenic Global Warming” they do briefly mention the polar bears, too. And if you catch it — it’s also a powerful comeback to those who whine about the polar bears disappearing... LOL...
—
Its one thing to gripe and complain about these things and disagree with it, but its quite *another* to convince your friends and neighbors and relatives and coworkers...
THEREFORE..., its also absolutely necessary for people to know the information in the following documentary. If there were simply *one* video that you could see and/or show people you know... this would be the *one*...
The following is an *excellent* video documentary on the so-called Global Warming I would recommend it to all FReepers. Its a very well-made documentary.
The Great Global Warming Swindle
If you want to download it, via a BitTorrent site (using a BitTorrent client), you can get it at the following link.

[this is a high-quality copy, of about a gigabyte in size...]
Its worth seeing and having for relatives, friends, neighbors and coworkers to see.
Also, see it online here...

If there is a position in history, this is it, one where someone must make the stand for science. He must for the sake of us all, stand up and be heard. This is about freedom, and the truth. Sometimes people have to put the good of us all, over being popular. This is that time, and I hope he has the intestinal fortitude to speak.
1) A suppressed and censored report from our own EPA exposes many problems with the theories and "consensus" of the populist (and now debunked) theory of global warming, and the true (and minimal) affect of human activity on the climate. The suppressed EPA report is linked here:
http://cei.org/news-release/2009/06/25/cei-releases-global-warming-study-censored-epa
2) A report from the Chicago-based Heartland Institute summarized the Non-Governmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC) that attempts to use scientific and rational arguments to identify exactly what is going on in the climate and the true impact of human activity. The recently released NIPCC report is found here:
Galileo was told that his observations were being suppressed by the Vatican because they were inconsistent with the accepted truth of scripture as interperted by Vatican experts.
Time to bombard all 100 senators with calls, faxes and emails to put a stop to this nonsense.
I’ve seen that (just recently actually), and while there are good resources out there... well... the fact of the matter is that the overwhelming majority of the public (even the conservatives) won’t get into the research to go through all that material. It’s just a fact of human nature and the “masses”... nothing too much more to be said about it, as to why.
SO..., that’s why I provided that particular documentary video — precisely because *that* is the kind of thing that the *masses* will “get into”. And that’s the key. You need something that is brief, to the point and in the media that most respond to. And that is the video that I provided.
That is the *one* that I would recommend for *all* to show to *everyone*...
Polar bear populations are fine, and they’re a problem in many Alaskan areas.
Hunting should be instated immediately.
No animal should be put on the ‘endangered’ list based on a hypothetical model projection, which is what happened here.

Our Culture, Whats Left Of It

Frontpage Interviews guest today is Dr. Theodore Dalrymple, a contributing editor to City Journal and the author of his new collection of essays Our Culture, Whats Left of It: The Mandarins and the Masses.
(down a few paragraphs from the top)
Dalrymple: Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself. Ones standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.
It’s really weird to be reading the article at the Newsbusters while looking at two google ads featuring polar bears and urging us to sign a petition to stop global warming!
I would pay to see a polar bear testify under oath. ;-)
BTTT
How much power/wealth does this mean to each individual senator? Who has pictures of whom with an aardvark? These will decide the vote. As usual.
An inconvenient truth for Al Gore et al: our planet is in a cooling cycle, not a global warming one.
Clean air and water, rainforests and other entities are helping our planet cope with industrial pollution.
Now if countries such as China and India join the fight to decrease and perhaps even eliminate pollution in their own, our planet would be able to make huge progress as far as decreasing pollution. But until such time as these and other countries step up to the bat and do their fair share as well, we should stand down especially while our country is in the midst of the worst recession/depression since the 1970’s (and liable to get much much worse).
Less Ice, more plankton, more plankton, more seals, more seals, more polar bears.
Uh, DUH!
Survival of the fittest and natural selection will weed out the polar bears who cannot swim.
I though the left loved Survival of the fittest and natural selection?

If Greenpeace had a brain in their head they get with unions to move manufacturing back stateside because we have an EPA, does India, China or Russia have an EPA? Don’t think so. The stuff is going to get built regardless, so why not build it here in factories that actually have scrubbers and used to have common sense regulation. No instead it is a global massacare of NOx, SO2, Mercury and Arsnic.
Thanks you greenie idiots.
