I was looking for the quote at the end of the speech and not the one in the posted article. I heard "dear" instead of "near" and it messed up my search.

Deuteronomy 30:14

This is what he said:

Scripture tells us the word is very near to you , it is in your mouth and in your heart so that you may obey it.

I certainly hope that he read on... De 30:19 I call heaven and earth to witness this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Choose therefore life, that both thou and thy seed may live

I don’t see how the man just does not burst into flames when he attempts to recite scripture.
