Powerful Democrat Alan Grayson joins Ron Paul's quest for transparency at America's most dangerous governing institution. But what would be the concrete benefits of an audit?

You mean that they will tell us where our money is being spent? That’s a novel idea.
The only problem I see is that congress will do the auditing.
All this stuff should be done by we the people in some way.
It will never amount to anything.
Does anyone remember 1995 when the new republican majority tried to audit congresses finances and after more than a year came out with a report that said, in effect, “We can’t make heads or tails out of this mess but if a private citizen tried to do the same thing they would never get out of prison”.
Not spent, urinated away, ie the bladder effect.
Thanks, D.R.
Hey did you also know that Rep. Kucinich has sponsored HR 2424 (another bill that aims to audit the Fed, but not with as strong language). I know he’s a liberal dem (and socialist with some of his policy), but in the past he’s criticized the Fed, and HASN’T sponsored R.P.’s 1207 though..something is fishy.. I called him today (didn’t get much more than ‘visit his website’) asked him to sponsor, you (and other like minded liberty activists) might want to do so as well!
We cant make heads or tails out of this mess but if a private citizen tried to do the same thing they would never get out of prison.
LOL that’s hilarious...altho I can’t tell whether you meant they’d be jailed for doing the audit or for doing the things the audit found...
Wrong reply: do you mean Mapmaker77 (post #5).
