I doubt the Iranians have much to worry about at all, in any form, from this administration.

Persian Gulf will always be Persian Gulf. The United States always addressed it as such (not at least in four wars).
This politically motivated “Arab gulf” misnomer is an relic from the days of the pan-Arabic madmen Nasser and the Soviet-sponsored Arabs.
Just because the current islamic regime in Iran is our enemy, we should yield to the Arab “friends” (backstabbing opportunists actually) and rename it? Once the political situation changes we rename it again? Nope.
BTW it’s more uncomfortable that Hussein Obama is addressing Iran officially as the “Islamic Republic”. This is the first time an US President is recognizing this illegitimate regime.
